Home Sweet Home is a heartwarming, touching story. Home should be our safe place, where love and trust reign supreme, and I loved journeying with Chace and Mia through the storm that threatened that safety. Their home is contrasted with that of the precious Amish family, Isaac and Vera, who model a Christlike giving without hesitation. They’re trying to make a warm, loving home, but find the odds stacked against them because of their different backgrounds and tough financial situation they find themselves in. In Home Sweet Home, we meet Chace and Mia, young parents who love each other, but struggle with life’s difficulties just like all of us. While I enjoy a young couple meeting and falling in love as much as anyone, I’m even more blessed by the story of a married couple growing together. I have never read a book by Amy Clipston that I didn’t enjoy, but something about Home Sweet Home especially struck a chord with me.
